Steve Prefontaine Invitational Track Meet 2009
When you don't have credentials to get down on the field, you do what you can from the stands. In fact, this is somewhat eye-opening as to what is available with a hand-held (non-image-stabilized) lens from Section Q, Row 26 of the old Hayward Field bleachers. The running events don't shoot well from the stands, and some, such as the long jump, were simply too far away and blocked. These are presented as a ramdom taste of the event, 1/1000th of a second at a time. Click on #1 and let it run as a slide show.
