The Green River Watershed - Tacoma Water Department

This is the bottom end of the closed watershed. On the left is the low-head dam to divert water to Tacoma. The gate is just another 1/4 mile west (left). MY stretch of river is (traveling left to right) over the old railroad bridge/road, around the large turn to the top, then drop off the road where it cuts away from the river and cross the river to fish behind the screening trees. 40 years ago. All the logging roads did not exist then. Note the apparent lack of buffer zones.
