Klickitat 15 - Klickitat Gorge
The Columbia basalt flows that define the entire Columbia plateau have beeen eroded by the Columbia River itself as the lowest point. Every river coming off the plateau must/will similarly cut through the basalt to get to the Columbia. This is the Klickitat's version. In places the width is only 4 feet, and I assume 30-50 feet deep. Indians still swing dip nets through these slots to catch upcoming fall chinook.
