The snow cone of completely privately owned (by a timber company) 12,000 foot Mt Adams on the right, sister mountain to unruly Mt St. Helens. The "K" arises out of the Klickitat glacier on Mt. Adams which gives it the summer glacial color. One can tell from the internet whether the "K" has cleared yet in September. If the river level graph is "spiking" in a sawtooth pattern daily, that's the glacial melt and it will be off color,
