Hood River 7 Hood River Pipeline-trail

Walk up the east side trail of the river from the power generating station at Hood River city and you'll follow the high pressure 8 foot diversion pipe. The trail and pipline crosses to the west side of the river with this combination pipeline/footbridge. Upriver from the footbridge is the old, leaking section of pipeline. The walk is well worth it as a day trip.
