Deschutes 13 - South Junction

South Junction is a public access point midway between Trout Creek and Maupin. The canyon widens here allowing a reasonable road. There is no road access over the railroad tracks so one cannot retreive or launch boats that cannot be hand carried. Rafts can and do put in and take out here.
